Vladimir Butenko-PhD - President and CEO
Vladimir Butenko brings more than 20 years as a recognized leader in the messaging and collaboration industry to his position as founder, President and CEO of CommuniGate Systems, which is elevating the standards for e-mail, instant messaging and VoIP technologies. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Moscow State University in 1988, and established the company in 1991 with the vision of building an advanced, scalable and flexible e-mail infrastructure solution. As President and CEO, he is responsible for developing the overall corporate vision and strategy, as well as managing the company's operations.
Throughout the company's exponential growth, Mr. Butenko has continued his direct involvement in product strategy development for CommuniGate Pro, as well as interfacing directly with clients and partners.
Joseph Pestana - Vice President, Sales
Joseph Pestana brings more than twenty years of technology sales management experience to CommuniGate Systems with strong organizational experience and a proven track record of sales success. Mr. Pestana has a long history and proven record of managing accounts at top tier universities, ISPs hosting millions of accounts and enterprises internationally. At CommuniGate Systems, Mr. Pestana serves as the driving force behind the company's direct and channel sales in the Americas.
Prior to joining CommuniGate Systems, Mr. Pestana held various sales management positions with technology, energy and engineering companies. Most recently, he served as the Regional Sales Manager for the New York-Philadelphia area for Sendmail Incorporated where he was the number one salesperson in North America.
Jon Doyle - Vice President, Business Development
Jon Doyle has a proven track record of accomplishments in strategic alliance management, corporate strategy and product marketing. Mr. Doyle is responsible for driving the strategic partnerships and corporate development at the company.
Mr. Doyle has extensive experience with unified communications, Rich Media delivery, and digital assets management solutions in the mobile and broadband operator segment. Jon has been involved in communications technologies for over 15 years, and regularly speaks and contributes articles about the emerging trends and technologies in the industry. Previously Jon was at Sendmail Inc. and drove the strategic alliances and managed product marketing programs with companies such as HP and Intel. He also led the development and product launch of the "Workforce Mail" product offering for mobile workers with HP. Mr. Doyle has a unique history with Linux-based solutions from his service as the Director of Operations and Services at SuSE Linux Inc. (now part of Novell) and as an Executive Consultant at Compaq's Corporate Strategy office developing the company's Linux strategy.
Prof. Andrea Kimpflinger - Vice President, Marketing
As Vice President Marketing, Andrea Kimpflinger handles all worldwide marketing activities and develops communications and public relations programs to increase the visibility of CommuniGate Systems as the leader in delivering rich media and communication solutions for the mobile lifestyle.
Andrea Kimpflinger brings more than 15 years of experience in business marketing to CommuniGate Systems. She started her career at Hiel/BBDO advertising for customer accounts in the pharmaceutical and software industries. Later Andrea developed a broad career in the GSM Carrier market place delivering marketing, advertising and communication programs for global providers within Europe. Further Andrea has unique experience with hi-tech marketing having worked at Compaq/HP in the SMB sector and later at Sendmail Inc. where she led the marketing communications for entering the Central European Market.
Andrea studied at the University of Munich and now teaches at the University of Applied Sciences in Neu-Ulm Germany as Professor - communication design, corporate communications and marketing.
Dr.-Ing. Thomas M. Fleissner - Managing Director, Europe, Middle East, Africa
Dr. Fleissner leads the European operations and is responsible for sales, support and partner alliances for Western and Central Europe. He brings to CommuniGate Systems ten years of analyst experience researching and assisting in the development of application technologies. He provided his market research and analysis services to car manufactures like BMW, Audi and Mercedes as well as Compaq, HP and IBM. Dr. Fleissner was also an analyst for the European Union's technology division. Dr. Fleissner earned his doctorate in electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich.
Boris Tyshkevich - Vice President, Russia
As Vice President, Boris Tyshkevich oversees CommuniGate Systems' sales, services, support, and business alliances for Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia. Prior to joining CommuniGate Systems, Mr. Tyshkevich founded and managed Zenon NSP, one of the leading Internet service providers in C.I.S. Before founding Zenon in 1994, Mr. Tyshkevich was an engineer and programmer at the Institute of Automated Systems in Russia.
Sachi Noma - Vice President, Japan
Sachi Noma brings to CommuniGate Systems an impressive career of more than 30 years in the international and technology arenas. Noma-san is responsible for field operations and oversees all aspects of business alliances for Japan.
Noma-san has held various executive management positions leading foreign companies in Asia for over 20 years. Prior to joining CommuniGate Systems, he served as President and General Manager for KDC and Managing Director of GTE's subsidiary (now Verizon), Contel IPC Japan for the Asia-Pacific regions. He has also served as a consultant to foreign technology companies in many diversified areas such as messaging, collaboration software and network security.
