Position Summary:
Public Relations Director will play an important role in building awareness, driving coverage, and communicating product, market and thought leadership for CommuniGate Systems. These activities will encompass ongoing media relations targeting key vertical, industry, business press and influencers. The Public Relations Director will develop and disseminate a variety of news releases for the company, proactively drive coverage by maintaining ongoing relationships with key journalist, reactively facilitate additional media inquiries, and help develop a variety of supporting materials, such as media backgrounders and messaging documents.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to and execute PR strategy and plan. Development and execution of media, analyst and influencer-oriented PR programs designed to generate awareness
- Drive and execute outreach activities including pitching, campaign launches, and develop media relation's metrics
- Write and edit a variety of PR documents, including press releases, award submissions, byline articles and newsletter contributions
- Engaging conversations and nurturing relationships with bloggers and other influencers
- Identify, recommend, and implement additional initiatives in line with marketing communications goals and influencer's programs
- Provide counsel on announcement strategies, competitive announcements, etc.
- Write quarterly and yearly wrap-up reports, and developing and managing media tours

Solutions Architect / Sales Engineer
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers to provide the technical sales component of selling our software solution to drive the sales process to successful conclusion, specifically, but not limited to addressing all customer questions and needs on technology
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to sales prospects to include senior "C" level executives, IT directors, and System Administrators
- Write statements of work for professional services engagements
- Provide technical support on evaluations
- Write responses of product's technical functionality and feature sets for RFP's, RFI's etc
- Communicate customer product feedback to development, marketing, and professional services organizations
- Provide installation, training, and technical support to customers and channel partners

Requirements
- Minimal 5 years technical sales engineering experience in a software environment

- In-depth understanding and experience with enterprise infrastructure applications, including messaging architectures: rich messaging (MAPI), IMAP, POP, and web based email

- Perform service tasks both remotely (via phone/web) and onsite with customers

- Global travel required, generally no more than 30% of the time (as required in the future services role)

The Regional Sales Manager, Business Development (Key/OEM Account) Manager is responsible for business development of key accounts and OEM partnerships related to the European market.

This role will primarily be supporting activities in EMEA, but projects can require interaction with the other regional offices like Latin America and the USA. Job description:
